let me start at the start because that is a good place.

last time i was at Al's he put this song on repeat. it was really good, and he played it over and over and said it was his fave. but i didnt know what it was called.

well Friday night when i was out, i heard it again, so i text him asking him what it was called because i really liked it. he text me the next day saying it was DJ Jessy "Look At Me Now".

Monday night (Val night) i was texting him. it went like this

Alright stud, get any valentines?

Al
yeah, 7 what about you?

Me
someone sent flowers to my work, but there was a card with no name, so dont know who they are from. you did not get 7!

Al
yeah i did, all on my phone. so do you have any idea who it was? whoever it was it was nice of them. busy at work today?

Me
oh,i didnt realise we were counting texts, in that case i got 25! really not a clue who they are from, but they are really lovely, so knowing my luck someone mining! but i have never ever had flowers before so i was chuffed! so who were all your texts from, you big stud, ha!

Al
you got the big part right! just a couple of exes, some girls i know about town, you know!

Me
you have got such a fucking big head! do you have someone that sits in your room constantly telling you how great you are?

Al
No, just a confident person, always have been. blimey, whats crawled up your drain pipe, i am only telling the truth!

and then i didnt reply again.

last night i got a text saying

"Hello Bec, how come you didnt reply to my last text last night? i have got Andy round having a few beers to crist my new flat"

crist? crist? obviously a word i dont know being "just a friend" (actually i think it was meant to say "christen" but Al is hardly the sharpest knife in the drawer)

i still didnt reply. there is a very good reason why, but he has obviously not thought of it, and i am not going to tell him. i have run out of credit on my phone! ha!

anyway, i was sat doing my appointment sheets a minute ago (because it is an endless whirl of glamour and entertainment working for Social Security), when Anne came to me and handed me a CD.

"its from Allen" she said "he asked where you were and i told him you were busy. so he asked me to give it to you"

it was the CD. his fave song. he brought it in for me.
