Hi Peeps!!!

WEll Ive come to do the entry that was the most popular choice, by you the voting public (Well the three of you that still read me, anyway!)

How did I know you would all want to hear about Joey Baby collapsing my ceiling?? Oh it wasnt good. Really, really wasnt good. But here's what happened..........

As you all know, I'm back living with my beloved mother Cliff. On March she went on holiday to Thailand, and, as I wasnt working at the time and neither was Joey, I asked her to come and stay with me for a fortnight. I thought we could have a laugh, get pissed up, etc etc.

Anyway, Comic Relief night, we decided to have a few people round. No wild party or anythng like that, just a few friends, a few bottles of vodka and a few nibbles. Everything went fine. Just like we planned. We stayed up getting drunk till about 5am, then went to bed. Happy. Or so I thought. Or should I say stupidly thought.

Joey Baby came running into my room about 11.30. Me and Stan woke up to her rambling "You're going to kill me. you're so going to kill me, I'm so sorry, blah blah blah." To be fair I couldnt really think straight. I was still 3 parts pissed from the night before. Boy, did I sober up quickly!!! I calmly asked Jo what had happened, to which she took me downstairs to show me.

There was an enourmous hole in the ceiling. Bits of plaster all over the place. The carpet was saturated, it was like walking through a swamp. The sofa was soaked. I couldnt believe it. It was like walking into a nightmare!!! What did I do? Did I start screaming and shouting at Jo? No. Did I start crying? No. Did I jump out in front of the nearest passing car? Very nearly but no. I started slapping my own face and saying "wake up, for God's sake, wake up, you've got to be dreaming!!!!" Unfortunately I wasnt dreaming. It was very very real.

I can feel you all asking, "What had happened then?" Well I'll tell you. Jo had gotten up early to run herself a bath. But she also was still drunk when she woke up. She put the bath on, put the plug in and then fell asleep, only to wake up 45 minutes later to the sound of running water, and a big hole in the ceiling!!!

We got it sorted in time though. It took a lot of towels on the carpet to soak up the water, and a lot of very good friends pulling through to help, but when Cliff got back it was as good as new. Stan even repainted the whole thing, and he's not exactly what you might call helpful most of the time.

So anyway, thats the story of the ceiling.
