But none of that matters. Because I'm in love. yes, I have finally got the time to elaborate on my last entry. The man of my dreams is Stan. or Stannage as we like to affectionately call him. We met when Joey Baby was seeing Brendo Brando, the barman from Shooters (We dont ever do Senoritas anymore, its Shooters all the way), as he is friends with him. When i first met Stan, the first thing I noticed (well the first thing everyone notices) is the fact that he's not what you might call tall. he is, in fact, shorter than me. and when I first met him, he had long hair. and he's got a bad back, so he walks a bit lopsided. but I also noticed he a gorgeous mouth. and repeatedly told him all night what a lovely mouth he had. over the next few weeks we became really friendly, and every single time we were all out it would always end up with me and Stan sat in a corner deep in convo, and quite often holding hands. Everyone kept on asking me if I liked him, and i was all "No, no we're just mates!!", and do you know what? I even believed that myself. Until one night when i went home early, because I was so drunk I was at, what Stan likes to call "Vomit on the floor stage", due to one time when I was in shooters and didnt even attempt to run to the toilet when i felt the bile rising in my throat, as I knew i wouldnt make it. Classy. Anyway, I had gone home early, and the next morning The Mafia rang me and said that she had slept with Stan. And I was jealous!!!! GOOD GOD was I jealous!!! But then she had a bit of a thing for him, and could tell I liked him, but asked me to please not do anything. So being the good Betch that I am, I didnt do anything. Even when a few nights later Stan came back to mine after a night out, and stayed all night, I still didnt do anything, even though I wanted to so much. Eventually The Mafia gave me the ok, and on the night of Englands second world cup game, we got it together. And have basically been inseperable since.

He is the best. I mean the absolute best. I know I've had about a million crushes, and slept with a million people, and said "Oh I love him so much" a million times since i started D-Lnad, but they were all just practice. This is the real thing. He makes me laugh, he helps me when I'm sad, he holds me if I cry, we spend hours just sitting together doing things like crossword puzzles (I know, can you imagine ME doing a crossword puzzle? But I love 'em!). I'm not even going to tell you about our sex life, because its too special. HA HA, just kidding, I havent turned into THAT much of a sap, just yet (although I have turned into a bit of one, admittedly). We have amazing sex, but whereas with most of my men, thats been the main focus of things, with Stan, its just one part of something thats made up of far more than that. if that makes any sense. Basically he is just the most amazing man I have ever met. and he's SO CUTE!!! Dont get me wrong, he can drive me up the sodding wall sometimes. He is so slow about everything, and is always late whenever I have to meet him. but when i try and argue with him about it, he just says "I'm not having a row babe". He knows how to handle me.

There's just one small fly in the ointment. He has a girlfriend. He met her three years ago when they were both travelling in New Zealand (God DAMN that New Zealand), and has been with her ever since. However. She lives in Ireland. Her name is Ursula (I like to call her The Sea Witch, which Stan thinks is mean, but as I have said many times, its not my fault she is named after a well known Disney villain), and he hardly sees her. I mean, I have been with 5 months, and she has been here twice. As far as I'm concerned, thats not a relationship. Anyway, he is in a bit of a turmoil about the whole thing. I know I'm stupid for putting myself in this situation again, but to be fair, its a bit different when the other person doesnt even live in the same country!!!! It makes it easier to put out of your mind. I'm not giving him ultimatums, or pressuring him or anything, because I've done that before and look where it got me. Nowhere. I know its especially hard because his family really like her and they dont know about me. And his mum is just recovering from cancer, and his Granddad is just about to die form cancer, so he doesnt want to give them anymore upset at the moment. I'm not making excuses for him here, thats all true.

So anyway, I am in bliss!!! BLISS I tell you!!! I cant descibe how happy and in love I am. And you will be hearing a lot more from me now, because I have just joined the library, and I get an hours free internet access a day. AND the library is only a five minute walk form where I am living with the Cliffmeister General. Excellent work my dears. Please leave comments etc, because I will actually be able to get back to you now!! Whoo hoo!. I understand a lot of you are also at MYspace, so I'm going over to check it out.
