Friday night, was shocker of the Century as Matt turned up with ALCOHOL and CHINESE FOOD and HE had PAID for it all HIMSELF!!! which upped him in my estimations. i am not saying i am shallow, but i am a fat bird, and can be bought with food and alcohol. simple as.

anyway, i dont know why i am writing about Friday as all we did was watch the Big Brother launch. oh my GOD, its like a circus!!! full of freaks. only one person that seems remotely normal, and that is Maxwell, and he is a Gooner, and i am going to write it here MAXWELL TO WIN! so if, in 12 weeks time he does win, i can say that i wrote it here first.

anyway, what i really want to write about is Saturday. when i met up with My Fave Chicken, and her fabulous daughter K. i was nearby for a family get together, and my Uncle, whose house it was at extended the invitation to my chicken and K. so i met them at a nearby pub, where K lavished me with hugs and kisses and told me she loved me (which is always nice to hear), and then took the short walk back to my Uncles house.

upon arrival, it soon became clear that K was most definatley going to have my entire family eating out of her hand! she abandodned me, in favour of my Auntie, snuggled up with her on the sun lounger, and demanded that me and my Chick talk amongst ourselves! it was very funny. it was such a lush afternoon, we had the barbecue going, the beer was flowing, the conversation was good, it was fab!

My Chick finally got to meet the legendary Cliff, AND got to see her beard, which i know she was thrilled about. and i am not exaggerating her beard, let me tell you.

All my family were smitten with K. my Granddad even bought her an ice cream, and didnt even offer me one! K was quite taken with my Uncle for some apparent reason, and kept calling him sexy! then, when my other Uncle arrived in a Chalsea shirt, K was extremely impressed and said to my Nan "I love that sexy man in the blue shirt and he ADORES me", which might sound a bit overconfident you might think, had it not been true! K also kept shouting random orders at me, like "Becky! DANCE!" and i would have to randomly improvise some moves on the spot, while she continued to shout "Dance harder! dance higher! dance on the ceiling!". it was quite tiring.

i cannot believe i have only met My Chicken twice. i feel like i have known her forever. she has quite quickly muscled her way onto my best friends list. my family all thought she was fantastic, and i do believe she thought the same of them (well they are fabulous, look at the offspring - me). Cliff invited her to the next get together, and then said repeatedly afterwards "They are really lovely people. we will have to invite them next time". and she did honestly repeat that sentence every 2 and a half minutes for the next hour. bless her.

My Auntie Claire really is the hostess with the mostess, as she kept us going with food and drinks for the whole weekend, and she also got along famously with my chicken. everyone did in fact. it was fabulous (i think that is my word of the day). anyway, i am not quite as articulate a writer as My Chicken, so to read her rendition of events just click here.

well, got back on Monday and met Joey Baby from work, so we could go for a "few" drinks. why me and Joey think we are capable of going for a "few" drinks really is beyond me. before you know it, i convinced myself i was in love with Matts friend Dave, got the Hump with Lisa because he was talking to her, spilt an entire vodka and coke over myself, blamed Lisa for it again (she loves it when i'm drunk), and ended up feeling like a bit of a plank.

*sigh*

i love being me.

we did however, see Mallen, which only added to my thoughts that he is Minging Allen McMing-wah from Mingville. God he really is. he actually is identical to the Crazy Frog. only not silver.

there has been a new developement on the Silver Fox front, but that will have to wait.
